The 2024-2025 Parent Falcon Club members are listed below.
We will start recruiting for incoming 7th-grade members around March 2025. If interested, please contact the PFC at graniteoakspfc@gmail.com for any questions! We'd love to chat!
It's our goal to have two members in each position so that each grade level is represented. This makes things much easier for our volunteers and generally makes things consistent from year to year.
President - Gemma Mrizo
The President presides over PFC meetings and ensures compliance with the PFC Bylaws.
Vice President Kimberly Weber (8th) and Alexis Shoemaker (7th)
The Vice President oversees all fund-raising and sponsorships for the PFC. They also fill in for the President in his/her absence.
Treasurer Liza McGuirk (8th) and Shweta Saxena (7th)
The Treasurer is responsible for collecting and depositing all monies, issuing checks and tax receipts, communicating with the tax preparer, and reconciling the budget. The Treasurer presents the budget at the monthly board meetings.
Secretary Shellie Renyer (8th) and Jamie Moss (7th)
The Secretary records minutes in adherence to the agenda and posts approved minutes.
Communications Coordinator Sara Marchi Pasewark (8th) and Sylvia Bond (7th)
The Communications Coordinator is responsible for publicity and communication from the PFC, including Facebook management and weekly Parent Square Announcements.
Staff Appreciation Coordinator Jessica Stiff (8th) and Allison Hunt (7th)
The Staff Appreciation Coordinator organizes monthly Teacher Appreciation breakfasts/lunches and contributions, as well as a birthday treat for the staff.
Volunteer Coordinator Quetzalma Pizzella/Eddie Fernandez (8th) and Gil Hernandez (7th)
The Volunteer Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the volunteers needed for PFC-sponsored events.
